Happy Birthday Estelle Axton!! Mrs. Axton was born September 11, 1918 and with her brother, founded STAX records. After leaving STAX she later founded the Memphis Songwriters Association in 1973. She was a significant influence on supporting and promoting original Memphis music and musicians.
